Hesketh Farm Park in Bolton Abbey will be opening its gates for the first time this year during the North Yorkshire February Half Term (25th Feb – 2nd March) and will then be open each weekend in March which is new for 2019.
Farmer Chris, his wife Sue and their team on the farm have been busy over the winter making sure that all of your favourite activities are ready for Spring. The go kart track has been renovated, there’s a brand new Big Green Tractor for budding farmers to ride, the playground has been spruced up and the indoor maze has a fresh layer of straw.
A brand-new Sand Pit has been built, with 3 interactive play zones including tunnels, shoots, levers and excavators. If you wrap up warm and the sand pit is perfect for cooler days this Spring. Grab a cuppa from our café to keep your hands warm while your little ones play. Don’t forget you can bring your own picnic. We’ve got a large indoor and outdoor picnic zone.
During Half Term and on each weekend we’re open we will be offering lamb and calf feeding, egg collecting, pig brushing, guinea pig petting and tractor rides.
