If you are currently considering a school place for your child and you have not heard of Glasshouses Community Primary School already, here are a few reasons why you may want to come and visit us…
Glasshouses Community Primary School is situated in the heart of Nidderdale’s ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ which enhances the children’s education even further learning from the stunning natural surroundings as much as possible. We also have one of two North Yorkshire Outdoor Education Centres – Bewerley Park on our doorstep for outdoor and adventurous activities.
The school motto is, ‘Enjoying Learning Together’ which captures the way in which we approach our teaching and learning. Children of all ages enjoy coming together regularly from the three classes to take part in whole school events such as sporting activities, paired reading, circle times, stories, walks out in the surrounding countryside and whole school themed days.
We are very much the hub of the community and are involved in activities such as Remembrance Day, Christmas Carols on the village green, May Day celebrations and more.
